Welcome to GeneaBabble! My name is Michael McKean. I am a genealogist located in the old steel city of Youngstown, OH. I became interested in my family’s past when I was a little boy. My family has always been into genealogy and they often talked about it, especially when we would visit my father’s childhood home of Logan, IA.
Over the years it became a passion of mine to dig deeper into our past and find out where we came from and how we got where we currently are. The main reason for this blog is to share some of that passion with others who may be interested and also as an outlet for my plentiful ranting and raving. I hope you enjoy!
